Hey

It really is rather interesting, since you’ve been the most prevalent - in the form of a married couple (with two kids now!) who looks like you and your current boyfriend. So far I’ve befriended the guy, but haven’t had too many chances to talk to the girl, which is totally ironic since it started out that way between me and your boyfriend and you.

I still use your voice as my marker for ‘singable’ vs. ‘unreachable’ - it was a nice one, and I do miss it. I also still prefer to use D to play Give Thanks - a tune I practiced because of you.

You’ve been the most prevalent ‘visitation’ this past year - it’s as if God is blatantly telling me you and him are meant to be - so heck, let it be!

If all does not go well, or does, depending on how you look at things, I might be heading back into the World… of Warcraft.

Why begin that downward spiral of subscription fees, repetitive gameplay, and the idiots that proliferate the MMosphere?

Because so far? No game has been as involving in storyline, nor as classic in gameplay. WoW still has many subscribers after all these years because no other MMO has beaten it.

We always blame the media for misleading people.

I feel that’s not always true.

The media, specifically movies, songs, short films, are basically opinion columns. We don’t have to accept what they say as absolute truth, but what we should do instead is to accept them as the views of man. Truths seen by people of all kinds, trying to make sense of this world.

With the lack of absolute truth (they are few and far between), we should really be more accepting of the reasoning of others - they may be wrong, but that’s not always their fault.

There will be people in this world, the majority really, who will go along with their feelings when you tell them the gospel, the Holy Spirit moves in them through the heart, and they’re the people we generally try and talk to - those who are clean slates, not troublesome, no hard questions, bam.

There are people in this world, the minority, really, who won’t. They will ask questions - lots of questions - and they will continue to question and ask, they will attack or defend, depending on their personality, and they are who we call “Hard ground”, the “troublesome kind”.

Yet when the Holy Spirit moves on them through the head and through the heart, they will be the immovable pillars of the church - These are the people that are my kind, those that I respect, those that I want to work with.

Both types of people are equally loved by God, equally important in the work of God for his kingdom on earth - both have people who will minister to them, so stop chastising me when I tell you what kind of ministry I’d rather be heading.

Christmas is really not the time to be loading your Church worker, it’s already a hard enough season on him or her.

Okay, so I’m in no real position to complain - this is what I signed on for as a worker in God’s kingdom, right? I mean, that’s what I’m paid for.

Taking on this job is either making me sway towards my natural giftings, or I’m deluding myself, I’m not sure which. To be honest if you want me to keep doing admin work, organisation of parades, and generally things I’m not interested in, you’re probably not focusing on my strengths, but rather what you’d rather my strengths be.

The reason I was resentful in my previous fellowship was because I felt I was not using the gifts given to me. I suppose being empyrical has something to do with that - logic and reason don’t always go hand in hand with faith - faith doesn’t always have to make sense right?

I think it’s the opposite - The later chapters of Romans talks about not to stumble your brother, one way is to have him adopt your opinion - that’s a stumbling point - doing something because your brother says is right doesn’t make it right, it’s what you believe is right (and what the bible says) that matters more.

I’m of the opinion that the church needs many kinds to fill the niche - not necessarily one with a set mind who will lead the church in one specific direction, but definitely one with a mind who will lead the church in the general direction of godliness (and therein, continually mark over all the worship of Jesus Christ our Lord).

Here’s an example I was pondering during a facilitating session (it was quiet, everyone was busy) - the church I’m currently working with (or the leadership of it) prefers large events that bring people in - efficient, they would say, and planned - think big with big returns. I have had trouble with this mindset because I’m the opposite, putting friendship evangelism over it, slow, with few results.

But we need both - I see the value of big events, these are people who are alot more simple minded, pardon the expression, they do not need much to see the worth of Jesus Christ (and at the same time, are generally easily swayed), hence big events work with them.

But those I specialise with are those who are not so simple minded, who have thought about their beliefs, why they’re not Christians, why they are men and women of science, reason, muslim or free - and I can engage with them on that level.

The returns are small, but one man entering the kingdom is as joyous an occasion, especially those deemed… troublesome by some.

and I’m compelled to agree - I agree that Jesus Christ will one day come, and that in the end Malaysia, and it’s people will bow their knee, this is a provocation, one that demands to be heard, and proclaims a gory end to those who oppose us.

Yes, it’s good to be bold for Christ, but the point is not “I’m on the winning side, join us so you won’t lose!”, the point is “We Love you, hear why”

Creating this group, and it’s mother groups (whatever they’re called), will only create racial, and religious unrest. I may not believe in other faiths, but I believe there are many ways to win them over - this is not one of them.

As much as people are trying to lead me to believe that it’s the diet that we eat that causes the decline in the maximum age, I doubt that is truly the main cause.

While Christians are allowed to eat ‘unclean food’, science has proven that those deemed unclean are not as healthy as those that are ‘clean’ - sure.

But think about it, first of all the maximum age declined from the start, Adam lived longer than his son, who lived longer than his son, and so on and so forth - it was a gradual decline over the years till it plateaued - Moses was 120 years old when he keeled over.

from Adams century to Moses’ 120. Do you really think you’ll live much longer if you deprive yourselves of some of Chinese food’s greatest creations? (Soysauceporklegmmmmmm)

Think about it, Why live so long anyway? Jesus is the prime example of it’s not how long you live, but how well you lived - in service of others.
